Let Us Help You Switch to Sessions Health

  • Many SimplePractice providers are thinking of switching away from SimplePractice to another EHR. Whether you are upset with their poor billing program, always increasing prices or terrible support, we can help you move to Sessions Health
  • Many providers who would like to switch are hesitant because of the work involved in moving from one EHR to another. We can help! Simply sign up for our Transfer EHR Service and we can help you move. Here is what we can do to help you move:
    • Set up the following in Sessions Health:
      • All practice information
      • All providers
      • All insurance payers
      • Enroll you for Electronic Remittance Advice (ERAs) for all payers that offer ERAs.
      • Enroll you for Electronic Claims for payers that require EDI enrollment
      • Set up all practice locations accurately, including telehealth locations
      • Set all fees for your procedure codes
    • Do a complete export from SimplePractice and provide the zipped file to Sessions Health so they can import the following:

We can import:

  • All client and contact names, DOBs, emails, addresses and phone numbers
  • Completed progress and psychotherapy notes (backfilled into your calendar as unbilled)
  • Any assigned diagnoses for your clients
  • Primary Insurance policy information
  • Stored/uploaded documents, administrative notes, treatment plans, completed consents/questionnaires (saved as PDFs to the client record)

We cannot import: (Simple Practice does not export therefore, we’re unable to import):

  • Clients’ credit card information
  • Clients’ active vs inactive status (but note that clients with no imported notes or only notes older than 3 months are automatically marked as inactive)
  • Whether someone is a contract vs a client
  • Future appointments
  • Customized forms
  • Outstanding balance and billing or payment history
  • Secondary insurance information (your office would have to manually enter any secondary policies for patients in Sessions Health)
Transfer EHR Service Fees

  • For practices that are NOT using Medical Billing Professionals mental health billing service:

    • $499.95 fee
      • 50% payable in advance, balance paid at completion of work
  • For practices that sign up to use Medical Billing Professionals mental health billing service with Sessions Health:
    • No fee for the Transfer EHR Service.
    • However, if your office cancels service with MBPros within 6 months of completing our Getting Started Form a fee of $499.95 is payable for the Transfer EHR Service.

  • All practices must complete a HIPAA required Business Associate Agreement
  • For practices that will not be using MBPros’ Mental Health Billing Service, you must complete a Credit Card/eCheck Authorization Form.
