MBPros is please to offer an EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) Enrollment Service. This service is available whether you are using MBPros Billing Service or not. EFT allows you to receive payments from the insurance payer by direct deposit into your bank account rather than by paper check. Why should you enroll for EFT?

Shorter Time for Payment to Reach Your Bank Account

• Payment is sent to your bank once the claims are processed and paid. This results in payment being in your bank account usually by the next business day.
• In comparison with paper checks you have to wait for the payer to print, address and mail the check with the EOB.
• In addition, with paper checks you run the risk of not receiving the payment in the mail but you do not have a risk of a lost payment with EFT.

No Risk of Payment Being Sent to a Wrong Address

• Perhaps you moved your office but the payer has not yet updated your address in their system.
• With paper checks you have to hope that the payment is forwarded by the Post Office from your old address to your new address.
• With EFT you do not have the issue of a wrong address since the payment is being deposited electronically.

Fees

• Our fee for enrollment is $59.95 per payer for practices using Medical Billing Professionals Medical Billing Service. If for any reason a payer will not set you up for EFT (for example, maybe EFT is not offered to out of network providers) we will refund the $59.95 fee for that payer.
• If you are NOT using Medical Billing Professionals Medical Billing Service the fee is $69.95 per payer.  After completion of the below form, MBPros will send you the invoice for the EFT Enrollment Fees which you can pay securely online so MBPros can then enroll you for EFT.
