BillFlash Electronic Patient Statements and Collection Service
For TherapyNotes Practices Only
- Are you using TherapyNotes? As you know TherapyNotes does not offer electronic patient statements or a collection service. You have to print out the patient statements and mail them to your patients or hand them to your patients or upload them in the patient portal.
- HOWEVER, Medical Billing Professionals, which is not affiliated with TherapyNotes, has partnered with BillFlash electronic patient statements.
- It is important to stress that the Medical Billing Professionals is not affiliated with TherapyNotes LLC and is offering the below option as an add-on service for practices using TherapyNotes.
- In addition, you do NOT have to be using Medical Billing Professionals mental health service in order to use our BillFlash option.
Sending Bills and Getting Paid Has Never Been Easier
- Collecting balances patients owe can be tedious and time-consuming. Many offices do not even bother to send statements to patients, which results in decreased cash flow. Let BillFlash take away the worry of sending patient statements.
- With BillFlash you have the option of sending patient statements via the mail, via email (secure links) OR both.
- And for patients who do not pay you can utilize BillFlash’s collection services!
- Don’t be surprised when your payments increase and your headaches decrease.
How Does It Work?
- Eliminate headaches when you choose BillFlash as your one-stop shop for Billing & Payment Services that work together for you.
- Here’s how it works:
- First you must assign unique account numbers for each patient in TherapyNotes on the Info tab and also configure in settings in TherapyNotes for the account numbers to appear on patient statements.
- For practices using Medical Billing Professionals Mental Health Billing Service, we will take care of the above!
- Print your patient statements to a PDF file.
- Log into BillFlash and upload the patient statements.
- Add your patient email addresses in BillFlash for each of your patients.
- Approve the file that you uploaded so BillFlash can send the statements via the method you have chosen (mail, email or both).
- Patients can then pay securely via BillFlash Pay.
- Log into BillFlash Pay daily to review the payments received so you can post them in TherapyNotes.
- And having problems with patients not paying you? You can use BillFlash’s collection services! Simply select in BillFlash which patients you want selected for BillFlash’s collection service.
- For practices using Medical Billing Professionals Mental Health Billing Service, we will handle all of the above responsibilities!
