      report.

FAQ about On-Demand Follow-Up Service for PremiumPlus Service providers

  • How do I know which claims require follow-up?
    • For claims that deny in error on an EOB we will create a ticket in our Support Suite to notify you.
    • For claims that remain outstanding more than 30 days after submission:
      • For our non-Sessions Health and TherapyNotes clients we will provide you a Primary Insurance Aging Report broken down by payer, then by patient, then by claim so you can easily follow-up on the open claims.
      • For Sessions Health and TherapyNotes practices, remember we will automatically follow up on claims under our Platinum Service.  HOWEVER, if you are using Sessions Health or TherapyNotes, you can also opt for our PremiumPlus Service to save.  We can provide you an Electronic Claim History report each month showing claims submitted more than 30 days ago that have a status of Sent.
  • Can I just send you an email asking you to follow-up on all claims?
    • No.  Just in case you did not provide us a copy of an EOB you don’t want to pay a follow-up fee on claims that may have been paid to you.
    • Providers do have to complete a simple form at http://www.mbpros.com/followup requesting that we follow up on the claims listed.
  • Shouldn’t I just use a billing service that automatically follows up on claims and I pay them a percentage?
    • NO!  You will overpay.  Most billing services charge a percentage of the amount paid by insurance (usually 7%).  Because follow up is needed on only approximately 3-5% of claims, you are overpaying on the 95-97% of claims that do not require follow up.  Plus remember we can provide the exact same services as a billing service charging a percentage by you utilizing our On-Demand Follow-Up Service.

Claim Submission Guarantee:

  • For TherapyNotes practices, MBP will log into your practice and submit claims on a daily basis (business weekdays, not weekends or holidays).

*Limit of 100 free claims per month.  The 3rd month free will be the 13th month of service assuming continuing service and that the practice did not for any reason cancel or suspend service during the first year.  The 4th month free will be the 25th month of service assuming continuing service and that the practice did not for any reason cancel or suspend service during the first two years.
