EMR Setup Service

Are you considering switching your Electronic Medical Records program but hesitant because of the work involved in switching?

Medical Billing Professionals is pleased to offer an EMR Setup Service.  We realize not all practices will require our mental health billing service.

This EMR Setup Service is designed for practices that do NOT require our mental health billing service, but want to switch their EMR.

If you are considering switching to TherapyNotes, Sessions Health or Jane App, we can help you switch.

Note:  we do not offer the EMR Setup Service for any other EMRs; we only offer this service if you are switching to TherapyNotes, Sessions Health or Jane App.

Here’s what we offer with our EMR Setup Service:

  • We will set up all insurance payers on a list your provide
  • We will enroll you for electronic claims with all payers that require EDI enrollment.

  • We will enroll you for Electronic Remittance Advice (electronic EOBs) with all payers that offer it via the EMR’s clearinghouse, ClaimMD.

    • Note:  You will be required to do a telephone confirmation with ClaimMD of your Tax ID and NPI prior to us being able to enroll you for electronic remittance advice.  In addition, if you bill some payers with a Group NPI and others with an individual NPI, you may have to do multiple telephone confirmations with ClaimMD.

  • We will set up all providers

  • If you bill some payers with a different Tax ID number and/or NPI, we will set up overrides/customizations in your EMR so the payer is billed correctly.

  • We will set up all locations, including locations for telehealth

  • We will set up the fees you charge for each CPT code you bill.

EMR Setup Fees

  • Fees are based upon the number of payers set up by MBPros in your EMR.
    • 1-10 Payers:  $199.95
    • 11-15 Payers:  $299.95
    • 16-20 Payers:  $399.95
    • 21-25 Payers:  $499.95
  • If your office has already set up payers on your payer list in your EMR, fees are based upon the number of payers on your payer list in your EMR.
  • Payment of 1/2 of the fee is due at the time of commencing work.
  • Balance is payable once work is completed.

Optional EFT Enrollment Service

  • Do you want to be paid via EFT directly into your bank account from payers?
  • MBPros does offer an EFT Enrollment Service
  • The normal fee is $59.95 per payer.  HOWEVER, for those that enroll for our EMR Setup Service, the fee is only $39.95 per payer.
    • In addition, MBPros will WAIVE the EFT enrollment fee for payers (like Humana and Zelis payers) that require EFT enrollment in order to enroll for ERAs.
  • If interested once you enroll for our EMR Setup Service, contact us and we will provide you the link for completing the EFT Enrollment Form for EMR Setup Users.

  • Once completed we will send you a HIPAA Required Business Associate Agreement to digitally complete and send instructions for setting us up for access in your new EMR.
