FAQ

  • What are the differences between the Platinum Service and the PremiumPlus Service?
    • The primary difference is the Platinum Service includes up to 60 insurance verifications per month and includes follow-up of outstanding or denied claims.  However, with this special, PremiumPlus Service providers can receive up to 10 insurance verifications per month.

  • Are there any restrictions with the insurance verifications for the PremiumPlus Service?
    • There is a limit of 10 insurance verifications per billing month and 1 request per day.
      • NOTE:  For the Platinum Service, there is a limit of 60 verifications per billing month and 3 requests per day
    • Any verifications done in excess of 10 per billing month are charged $7.95 per verification.
      • For the Platinum Service, any verifications done in excess of 60 per billing month are charged $7.95 per verification.
    • Verifications are only done on new patients whom your office has never seen before OR patients who change insurance.  Verifications are not done on existing patients to just see if they have met their deductible or to see if benefits have changed.

  • Is follow-up of open or denied claims available with the PremiumPlus Service?
    • No.  HOWEVER, follow-up is needed on only 3-5% of claims depending upon your specialty.  If you submit 100 claims per month, that means follow up is needed on only 3-5 claims.  Most of our practices are easily able to follow up on the open or denied claims and save compared to our Platinum Service.

  • How do I know which claims require follow up if we choose the PremiumPlus Service?
    • On a monthly basis we will provide you a Primary Insurance Aging Report organized by payer that shows all claims open that were submitted at least 30 days prior.  You can easily take this report to follow up with the payers.
    • In addition, when claims deny in error on an EOB we will notify you so you can follow up with the payer.

  • If I sign up for the PremiumPlus Service, can I ever upgrade to the Platinum Service?
    • Yes.  If you determine that you do not want to follow up on your claims, you can always upgrade to the Platinum Service.  However, follow up of claims by MBPros is only done on claims submitted under the Platinum Service, not claims submitted under the PremiumPlus Service.

  • What is the price difference for the PremiumPlus Service vs. the Platinum Service?
    • The standard rate for the PremiumPlus Service is $2.89 per claim compared to $3.99 per claim for the Platinum Service.  Remember, with this special offer, you save 10% for the 1st year and will pay only $2.61 per claim for the PremiumPlus Service.
    • In addition, for smaller practices, the minimum fee for the PremiumPlus Service is only $99.95 per month compared to a minimum fee of $199.95 per month for the Platinum Service.
    • For practices that submit 20 or more claims per week, our 1000 claim prepayment option is only $2.59 per claim compared to $3.65 per claim for the 1000 claim Annual Prepayment Option.
    • For practices that submit 50 or more claims per week on average, our 2500 claim prepayment option for the PremiumPlus Service is only $2.19 per claim.  There is no 2500 claim prepayment option for the Platinum Service (you could choose the 1000 claim prepayment for $3.65 per claim).
    • Therefore, offices can save thousands of dollars per year by choosing our PremiumPlus Service in exchange for an hour or two per month of following up on your outstanding claims.

  • Why shouldn’t I just use a billing service charging a percentage?
    • Most billing services charge 7% of the amount paid by insurance.  Depending upon your average reimbursement per claim, you will pay SIGNIFICANTLY more to a billing service charging a percentage.
    • For example, if your average reimbursement is $100 per visit, you would be paying $7.00 per visit to a billing service charging a percentage.
    • In comparison, you would pay $3.99 per claim maximum for our Platinum Service if you wanted us to do follow up of your claims AND you would pay during the first year a maximum of $2.61 per claim ($2.89 per claim after the first year) if you chose our PremiumPlus Service.

  • Providers who purchase a prepayment option and cancel service for any reason within 60 days of the purchase of the prepayment option will receive a full refund of the prepayment amount paid*.


Fine Print:

  • Providers must complete the Getting Started Form on our website by December 31, 2021 at the latest.

  • Providers must purchase the prepayment option by 5:00 PM ET on December 31, 2021 at the latest AND prior to submission of any claims. 

  • Provider must use the number of claims purchased within one year of the date of purchase of the prepayment option.  HOWEVER, this one year time period does not begin until after the period of free months.

    • Example:  On April 20, 2021 you purchase a prepayment option and receive two months free.  Your one year time period for the prepayment does not begin until June 20, 2021.  Thus, the claims you purchase must then be used by June 19, 2022.

  • OFFER EXPIRES December 31, 2021 and is not available to existing clients.

*Limit of 100 free claims per month.  Claims in excess of this each month will be applied to the number of claims purchased for providers under the prepayment option; for providers under the standard rate, claims in excess of 100 per month will be billed at the standard rate.  Claims more than one month old from the date of completion of the Getting Started Form do not count as free claims.
