How is MBP's On-Demand Follow-Up Service Different?

  • MBP charges low per-claim fees...with prepayment rates as low as $1.59 per claim.

  • We then let you decide whether to follow up on your claims yourself OR have MBP follow up upon your claims.

  • Most of our clients find it easy to follow up on only 3-5% of their claims.

  • BUT if you would prefer us to do so, you can select which claims you want us to follow up upon.

    • For example, maybe a payer denied a claim and you want us following up on that one claim.

    • Maybe you have not heard from one payer for one patient and you only want us following up on claims with that payer for that one patient.

  • And we make it easy...you would simply complete a form at www.mbpros.com/followupform.html requesting follow-up on certain claims.

  • The On-Demand Follow-Up fee is only $7.95 per claim actually followed up upon.

  • Some providers may think that is expensive.  BUT see the charts below to see how much you can SAVE using our services with the On-Demand Follow-Up Service compared to a billing service charging a percentage.

Submitting Billing Yourself?

  • If you are submitting billing yourself and not promptly following up on all denied claims and claims where you have not heard from the payer, that is lost money.

  • Using our On-Demand Follow-Up Service increases reimbursements and reduces your AR problems.

 

*Savings will vary depending upon whether you choose a Prepayment Option or a standard rate.  In addition, if the request for follow-up is less than 5% of submitted claims, your savings will be GREATER.  Also, if you group more than one visit on a claim for a patient, your average reimbursement per claim increases, which means your savings using MBP is GREATER than above.
