Medical Billing Professionals Platinum Medical Billing Service includes all of the following for one low fee:

Claim Submission

     Medical Billing Professionals will enter your data, transmit your electronic claims and submit your paper claims.  We guarantee that claims will be submitted accurately by the next business day at the latest.

Accounts Receivable Posting

   Medical Billing Professionals will post all payments from patients and insurance companies and properly post adjustments and deductibles.

Follow-Up of Outstanding Claims

     For any claims that remain open at least 30 days after claim submission, Medical Billing Professionals will aggressively follow-up on the claims to determine why the claims have not been paid.

     For any claims that have been improperly denied by payers, Medical Billing Professionals will follow-up with the payer to have the claim processed correctly.

Online Rejection Reports

     For any claims that reject electronically, providers will have free monthly access to our Online Rejection Reports system.

Medisoft Network Support

     For providers who access their data on our Medisoft Network, MBP will provide free unlimited online support via our Support Suite.

Remit Manager Access

     Providers will have free monthly access to look-alike EOBs with our Online Remit Manager.  For any payers offering Electronic Remittance Advice, MBP will will post the ERA files in our Remit Manager where providers can view look-alike EOBs, search by payer, search by check number, and search by patient.

On-Line Eligibility Transaction Service

     Platinum Service providers will have free online access to the Acce$$ Eligibility System for unlimited transactions to participating payers.  The Acce$$ Eligibility System offers the following:

• Manual entry or swipe card eligibility to hundreds of payers

• Swipe card reader plugs into the USB port of the provider's PC ($75.00 fee for swipe card reader)

• Payer specific search criteria

• Provider details can be stored to avoid re-entry of data

• Eligibility responses are returned to the screen in a user-friendly, printable format

• Eligibility responses are conveniently stored in a searchable transaction history system

• Eligibility responses contain all of the information returned from the payer

Reports and Patient Statements

     On a monthly basis MBP will e-mail Platinum Service Providers the following:

• Collection Analysis Report.PDF 

• Collection Statistics Detail - Year To Date.pdf 

• Financial Statistics - Year To Date.pdf 

• Flash Report - Year To Date.pdf 

• On a monthly basis MBP will e-mail providers all Patient Remainder Statements, which you can review and send to your patients.

Platinum Service Fees

• Standard Platinum Fee:     $3.99 per claim (minimum fee of $299.95 per month)

• OR prepay to reduce your fee as low as $2.99 per claim with our Platinum Service Prepayment Options:

  • 1000 claims for $3490.00 ($3.49 per claim)

  • 2500 claims for $7425.00 ($2.99 per claim)

How to Provide Billing Information to MBP

• The primary way providers submit patient demographics and billing information is by completing our Online Patient Form and Online Billing Form, which can be accessed under the Online Forms tab at the top of this website.

• A second way to provide information is by sending SECURE email.  You then can either attach a computerized file or simply in the bottom of the email provide patient and billing information.  Because of HIPAA, you cannot send unsecure e-mail with patient demographics and billing information.

• Your office can fax to us any forms you may have.  HOWEVER, these forms cannot be handwritten.  They must be either typewritten or computer-generated.

Better Service

• NO computer is needed for our Platinum Service (except for providers wanting access to our Medisoft Network)

• NO contract to sign (except a Business Associate Agreement per HIPAA regulations)

• NO set-up fees.

• Real-time access to your data is available via our Medisoft Network to allow you to run reports, print patient statements and utilize the Office Hours Professional Appointment Scheduler and Encoder Pro Coding Software*.

*Providers must own a licensed copy of Medisoft for access to their data.  If you do not own a licensed copy of Medisoft, you can purchase Medisoft Basic for $299 to fulfill licensing requirements.
