Amazing Charts--Reporting

Being able to query your database and pull up all patients meeting certain criteria is one of the main benefits of using an Electronic Health Record.  A good example of this is when a medication is recalled.  With just a few clicks, you can have a list of every patient whom you've prescribed that medication.

Amazing Charts includes other helpful reporting tools, such as household addresses that can pull up all the unique households in your practice.  This file can be exported to generate mailing labels to allow easy mailings of practice newsletters--one per household.

Another great feature is the Ad-Hoc Reporting Window, which allows you to specify your own criteria for pulling subsets of your patients.  Easily pull all your patients who have not had a preventative exam in over a year, or just as easily figure out how many flu shots you need to order by being able to count, to the exact number, how many active patients you have who are above a certain age and are diagnosed with various co-morbid conditions.  And as Pay for Performance (P4P) and other quality measures (i.e., DOQ-IT) become necessary to provide, the Ad-Hoc Report makes it easy to generate the reports you need.
