Amazing Charts--Charting

The electronic chart is quite similar to the paper charts we are all used to.  Clicking on the tabs at the top of the electronic chart brings you to the various sections (demographics, summary sheet, prior visits, imported items and account information).

Amazing Charts has been designed to address a few critical points that are surprisingly overlooked by most EHRs on the market today.  First, you see all patient's information on one page.  When you pull a patient's chart, by default it opens to the most recent encounter--and you use that information as a starting point for today's visit.  In this way, the patient chart is a progressive record.  As items change, you change them in the note.   Those items that tend to be more static, such as PMH and FH, always come up and don't have to be re-documented each time.

Since most providers document the same review of systems, exams, etc over and over again during the day, using prefabricated templates with this information makes documenting this mundane information a breeze.   Simply right-clicking in the text boxes opens your templates and allows for rapid documentation.  Use the included templates to document common history and physical findings, or add/edit your own templates with ease.  You can even download templates from the online user community.
